ECDI Women’s Business Center-Cleveland

ECDI’s project will build the capacity of ECDI Incubation and Training Programs, offered through the Women’s Business Center (WBC) and ECDI lending, to assist underserved entrepreneurs. ECDI provides a suite of wrap-around services that include: mentorship programs, coaching, training, professional amenities, co-working space, and loan capital to current and aspiring entrepreneurs. By assisting underserved entrepreneurs with starting and growing their businesses, ECDI creates jobs that help bring individuals into the economic mainstream. The VISTA will work with the WBC to help small business owners expand their businesses and recover from the pandemic. The VISTA will identify, develop and market improvement to WBC programs including Set Up Shop, which provides entrepreneurs with a physical space to market and test new products, and Coffee and Chat, which provides a networking and support system for women entrepreneurs looking to overcome barriers. The VISTA will also assist in collection, management and interpretation of program data and outcomes.
