Member Duties : Member will serve during the school day at a Minneapolis Public Schools site to provide a caseload of students with intensive academic coaching focused on English Language Development. This includes direct instruction using an Academic Language Development curriculum as well as daily in-class support in content classes (science, social studies, English language arts and math). To do this, members build positive relationships with youth and collaborate with ESL and content teachers. Additional responsibilities include family engagement through ongoing communication with families, involvement in after school programs, and participation in twice-monthly program trainings.
