Montana Behavioral Health and Wellness

MPH Corps is a state AmeriCorps program focused on collaborating with residents, businesses, local government and schools to make their communities stronger. These communities are built on a common belief that we succeed together. MPH Corps members are advocates in our communities as they assist organizations and community members in addressing the challenges of rural life such as generational poverty, high rates of suicidality and depression, alcohol and drug abuse, and limited access to mental and behavioral health services. Eastern Montana is an amazing place to explore. Members are encouraged to live a healthy work/life balance by exploring their surroundings, such as the Badlands, Teddy Roosevelt, Mt. Rushmore, Yellowstone, and Glacier National Parks and Makoshika, Medicine Rocks State Parks, among others. To see what our members have been up to, please visit our Facebook page at facebook.com/MontanaPublicHealthAmeriCorps, or on Instagram at mphamericorps. MPH Corps strives to provide a meaningful and supportive experience to all our AmeriCorps members. A unique benefit will be to help members build their own Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) that they can use throughout their service and beyond. The MPH Corps members fulfill their service year in a creative, flexible, and fulfilling way. Explore frontier Montana and help our underserved communities improve their quality of life!
