Public Health AmeriCorps VISTA Leader

PHI Center for Health Leadership & Impact (CHLI) serves as the sponsoring organization for the AmeriCorps VISTA Hub, recruiting VISTA Volunteers for projects working to build healthier communities and advance overdose prevention initiatives. CHLI supports host sites in the western region (most sites in CA). VISTA Volunteers serve on programs working on community resilience efforts in high-poverty communities in AmeriCorps Western Region. VISTA Volunteers supporting California Overdose Prevention Network (COPN) serve with local overdose prevention coalitions across CA. Each consists of local partners working together to lower overdose deaths and build better systems of addiction treatment. The selected candidate will be a part a statewide learning community through PHI Center for Health Leadership & Impact (CHLI). This community includes support from VISTA Leads and professional development opportunities including workshops, networking events, conferences and other trainings. Members will be part of a network of over 200 CHLI AmeriCorps alums. Learn more about our program on our website, https://healthleadership.org/pathways/americorps
