BRACE Citizen Corps Coordinator
Bring members of the community together to identify gaps in disaster-related services and Emergency Management, to coordinate and participate in workgroups that will identify possible solutions to filling the gaps and address capacity issues of local organizations. Coordinate BRACE efforts to identify and engage current and prospective partner organizations to enhance Mass Care, Sheltering and Functional Needs Support Services for persons with disabilities and other vulnerabilities.

Member Duties : VISTA will work with local emergency management, faith-based organizations, non-profit organizations, and businesses in the community to identify gaps in emergency services. Coordinate discussion groups to identify solutions to filling the gaps in service. Work with the BRACE Training Coordinator, BRACE Disaster Recovery Specialist, BRACE Veteran Engagement Coordinator, BRACE Youth Engagement and Disabilities Coordinator, and the BRACE Marketing Coordinator to coordinate outreach meetings and /or events to engage the community in disaster preparedness and mitigation.
