PHENND Fellows - Non-Profit Track

PHENND Fellows is a program that fosters young non-profit leaders who seek to expand the infrastructure for community partnership development across Philadelphia. Through its Nonprofit Track, it places passionate and talented college graduates at local non-profits as AmeriCorps VISTA members. This track has a three-fold mission: (1) Support local nonprofits fighting poverty across a wide range of issues, (2) Train and retain local talent to stay and work in Philadelphia, and (3) Develop the next generation of nonprofit leaders. During the 2019-2020 program year, 35 PHENND Fellows will actively build capacity in local organizations and participate in extensive professional development as a cohort. This program is run by PHENND (The Philadelphia Higher Education Network for Neighborhood Development), a 30-year-old consortium of over 25 colleges and universities in the Greater Philadelphia region. The consortium actively seeks to revitalize local communities and promote civic responsibility through service learning among the region's higher education institutions. If you want to help build sustainable solutions in Philadelphia, please apply.
