ReSOURCE is an innovative non-profit organization with the mission of waste reduction, job skill training/workforce development and poverty relief. The AmeriCorps Every Body Works program provides individuals with economic opportunities through workforce development by placing them into service. In addition to supporting ReSOURCE's mission of poverty relief their service supports workforce development and hands on learning through service to our community by supporting students in ReSOURCE's resuse setting. Members are provided direct feedback, create meaningful service experiences for students. Members assist students in their personal and professional development by providing job coaching, mentoring, co-facilitating workshops where students learn, what is and is not appropriate in work place setting, how to ask for an accommodation, resume building, verbal and nonverbal communication, and technical skills. Members enhance learning experiences for students enrolled in ReSOURCE's training programs.

Member Duties : Members will support existing and new training programs that serve youth and adults with disabilities. Members will participate and support the mission of AmeriCorps and ReSOURCE. Members will help create a safe learning environment for all students. Through their service members, will increase economic opportunities for Vermonters by supporting ReSOURCE's poverty relief mission. Members will participate in National Days of Service in the community.
