CYC Outreach Specialist

Colorado Youth for a Change (CYC) is a leader in the field of student reengagement and our mission is to solve the dropout crisis in Colorado. We have programming in 17 school districts, but this position would be located at our main office in Denver. The Outreach Specialist VISTAs will build program capacity by creating, enhancing, and implementing systems that will increase program outcomes pertaining to student recruitment and successful program completion. VISTAs will continue development and implementation of new program recruitment systems, and enhance online resource materials and manuals. We are looking for someone is/has: - Bilingual, Spanish speaking (preferred) - Recruitment/Outreach experience - Highly organized with strong attention to detail - Ability to sustain motivation in office environment - Ability to work as part of a diverse team - Task oriented and deadline driven CYC is a welcoming, inclusive organization that strives to be constantly learning and growing so that we can impact the educational path of as many Colorado students as possible. Member Duties : Develop and implement a new program recruitment system: - Research and evaluate recruitment systems used by CYC and other national high-school reengagement programs. - Refine new systems to implement recruitment strategies and increase program outreach efficiencies. - Implement newly developed recruitment strategy. - Develop systems to replicate program components, such as manuals, tool kits, or written instructions. Support improvements of existing online recruitment tools - Supporting systems to improve: Mass Texting Service, Online Scheduling App, and database alignment. Additional capacity building activities: - Support the enhancement of online school information manual. - Support the development of online resource manual. - Enhance intervention tool-kit for the Reengagement program at CYC.
