Business Development VISTA

Since 1999 Habitat for Humanity Roaring Fork Valley has built 60 homes throughout the Roaring Fork and Colorado River Valleys, Parachute to Aspen, Colorado. Serving a rural mountain resort community that includes the ski-town of Aspen and the historic Glenwood Springs, Habitat RFV has worked to provide affordable homeownership opportunities in an area where the cost of homeownership has continued to rise, especially due to the impact of the pandemic. With breathtaking mountain views, boundless outdoor recreation options, and a blossoming arts community, the Roaring Fork Valley is a unique and wonderful place to live. And beyond our local charm, we also have a long history of prosperity, from mining and ranching to outdoor recreation and tourism. Our valley has long been known as a world-class tourist destination. Skiing, camping, biking and hiking opportunities abound. We are soon to break ground on a multi-family community in Rifle, CO with 20 new homes for families and so it is an exciting time to join us in our growth as we meet critical housing needs in our Colorado mountain community. At Habitat RFV our VISTA member will join our administrative team to build capacity in the areas of internal and external communications, planning, evaluation and data gathering. In addition to the standard benefits Habitat RFV will also provide a monthly housing stipend of $500. For more information visit https://habitatroaringfork.org/.
