Feeding Texas leads a unified effort for a hunger-free Texas. We assist hungry Texans through a statewide network of twenty-one food banks, lead the public discussion on hunger in Texas, and strengthen the anti-hunger movement through collaboration and capacity-building. Summer Associates support a diverse range of programs responding to critical community needs, with the goal of increasing food security, improving health, and advancing equity.

Member Duties : As the Summer Associate at the Bravos Valley Food Bank, you will support the client and community engagement efforts of the Together We Grow program, the Brazos Valley Food Bank’s long-term food insecurity intervention program that supports household and employment stability through training, development, case management, and career coaching services. The Summer Associate will engage with and collect feedback from the program’s stakeholders including food-site program partners, visitors of food distribution sites, and program clients to inform programmatic adjustments and changes. We are currently recruiting for 1 position to serve in-person at the Bravos Valley Food Bank in Bryan, TX. This work will strengthen the food banks’ capacity to provide valuable programs for the communities served.
