Campus-Community Outreach Project
 
 
 
VISTA members in this project are placed at college and university campuses, where they help each institution build sustainable partnerships with local organizations that focus on low-income communities. The VISTAs also encourage Utah college students to be civically-engaged citizens by expanding service-learning and co-curricular service programs at each institution. There are positions available at Utah State University (Logan), Weber State University (Ogden), Utah Valley University (Orem), Snow College (Ephraim), Utah State University-College of Eastern Utah (Price), and Southern Utah University (Cedar City).

Member Duties : Through campus-based placements, the VISTAs in the Campus-Community Outreach Project work with community partners, students, faculty, and staff to develop the capacity for colleges to establish and maintain strong service programs that meet real community needs. They conduct needs assessments with community partners; strengthen existing relationships with local organizations; create sustainable systems for forming reciprocal partnerships with community organizations; and promote opportunities for students to engage in community involvement, service, and civic engagement.
