| Member Duties : The Summer Associate will be responsible for the coordination of community garden and vacant land/public greenspace reuse projects, as well as preparing the community for the arrival of the Towpath Trail. The Associate will work to secure volunteers and assist the garden leaders with maintenance. The Associate will assist at the Tremont Farmers Market on Tuesday evenings. In addition, the Associate will work directly with our full-year Americorps VISTA member to assist with community outreach around housing counseling and employment access. The Associate will additionally assist with our Arts in August and Tremont Arts & Cultural Festival series, which offers free arts programming in Tremont’s Lincoln Park.
