Member Duties : As Washington United Church of Christ’s VISTA member, you will make a difference for families and children in our community! Mobilizing community support, you will train and nurture volunteers to provide essential services, including community lunches, tutoring, summer programs for children, our Camp Cupboard free store, and other special programs at Thanksgiving and Christmas. Your role will also include seeking grants and financial contributions from individuals, businesses, and other church donors to fund outreach program expenses. Working on our newsletter, website, and social media, you will expand our online presence and communications network for farther-reaching impact. In each of these projects, you will establish new and long-lasting systems that we will use going forward to serve and empower our community. Join our team today! **Benefits include a monthly $200 housing stipend to supplement living costs.**
