Greater Cleveland Food Bank- Summer Meal Associate
 
 
 
The Greater Cleveland Food Bank's Mission is to ensure that everyone in our communities has the nutritious food they need every day. The Food Bank solicits donated food and nonfood products from manufacturers & wholesalers. Retailers and community groups distribute that food to more than 900 hunger relief programs that serve the needy in Northeast Ohio. Programs include hunger relief through emergency feeding partners, mobile pantries, school markets, backpacks, CACFP (kid's cafe), Summer Food Service Program (SFSP), and SNAP outreach. We are a sponsor for both CACFP and SFSP. Last year we supported 90 SFSP sites and are looking to continue to support these sites for this coming Summer.

Member Duties : Work with the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) Sponsor and sites by providing assistance with meal service, promotion, compliance, nutrition education activities, and helping prepare reports/paperwork for the Greater Cleveland Food Bank service territory of 6 counties (Ashtabula, Ashland, Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, and Richland). Help us assist our SFSP sites have a successful summer and reach more hungry children in need of a nutritious meal and enrichment activities to prevent learning loss during the school break. Looking for individuals wanting to improve their community through a rewarding summer of service. Join our team!
