Montana AmeriCorps - Dawson County

The Montana Public Health Corps (MPH) is a state AmeriCorps program focused on collaborating with local residents to make their communities stronger. These communities are built on a common belief that we succeed together. MPH Corps members are advocates in our communities as they assist organizations and community members in addressing the modern-day challenges of rural life such as limited access to mental and behavioral health services. Eastern Montana is an amazing place to explore, and we strongly encourage a healthy work/life balance. Members are given time to tour the beautiful states of Montana, North Dakota, and South Dakota and our many parks, such as Teddy Roosevelt, Mt. Rushmore, Yellowstone, and Glacier National Parks. Glendive is the home of Makoshika State Park. To see what our members have been up to, please visit our Facebook page at facebook.com/MontanaPublicHealthAmeriCorps. MPH Corps strives to provide a meaningful and supportive experience to all our AmeriCorps members. The MPH Corps members fulfill their service year in a creative, flexible, and fulfilling way. Explore frontier Montana and help our underserved communities improve their quality of life!
