| Member Duties : AmeriCorps Members will serve as Literacy Tutors providing K-5 students at one of 16 RSLV elementary schools literacy enrichment and one-on-one instruction on literacy development.
675 and 900 hour positions available for service period of September 2025 – May 2026. The stipend for these positions are up to $10,800.02 - $14,640.63 for the 9-month term ($540.00 - $732.03 bi-weekly), education award is $2,817.14 - $3,697.50, and required hours are 21.25 - 27.5 hours per week.* While the majority of service hours are completed onsite during school hours, members will engage in additional professional and community development meetings and/or projects, which may take place during evening or weekend hours.
