24-25 GRuB Community Education Coordinator
 
 
 
This is an AmeriCorps national service position. It is contingent on funding and open until filled. GRuB's mission is to grow healthy food, people, and community. With roots in the land, we create opportunities for people to learn, lead, and thrive. We are located on a 3-acre neighborhood farm in Olympia, WA. Our headquarters is a "farmhouse" that is also a classroom and community space. The culture of our organization is collaborative, vibrant, and lighthearted. We offer education, veterans, and community garden programming. We welcome many volunteers and visitors to the farm throughout the year. The member will coordinate volunteers and host individuals and group visits to the farm. We expect to begin rolling interviews in mid-January. Monthly stipend amount: $1,780.

Member Duties : The Community Education Coordinator with support our mission by serving as primary contact for volunteers and host for farm visitors. They will support volunteer recruitment and onboarding process; serve as liaison and support for volunteers on site; coordinate individual and group visits to the farm for service or education; provide logistical support for events and special programs on site.
