Outreach and Recruitment VISTA Leader
 
 
 
Chisholm Trail RSVP, Inc. located in Denton, TX is a VISTA Intermediary agency and is dedicated to improving lives, strengthening communities and fostering civic engagement through national service programs and volunteering in North Texas. The VISTA North Texas project currently has 24 projects in Denton, Collin, Dallas, Tarrant, Lubbock, and Harris Counties. The Outreach and Recruitment VISTA Leader will conduct community outreach and attend events in order to recruit high quality VISTA members for up to 28 projects. The VISTA Leader will also conduct interviews and assist with training new members to lead to successful projects. To be considered for the VISTA Leader position, applicants must have completed at least one year of national service (VISTA, AmeriCorps or Peace Corps).

Member Duties : The VISTA Leader will build the capacity of the Chisholm Trail RSVP VISTA North Texas Intermediary Program by conducting outreach and attending community events in order to recruit high quality VISTA members for up to 28 projects. Major duties include: •Seek out and attend community outreach events to increase awareness of the VISTA North Texas opportunities •Recruit high quality VISTA candidates •Work with applicants from screening through on-boarding •Help with on-boarding and training of all new VISTA members
