Member Duties : -Drives the bookmobile to scheduled stops, makes sure the bookmobile arrives promptly.
-Performs circulation duties related to bookmobile and children’s library.
-Reads stories, sings songs, performs fingerplays, etc. at the stops that opt to have programming.
-Lead STEAM programming.
-Participates in community outreach activities and events and identifies potential partner organizations for the bookmobile program.
-Continues to increase technology skills and be aware of new resources for information for families.
-Observes children and their reactions to reading aloud, skill development, language development, emerging literacy development and more and makes notes for program data collection purposes.
-Demonstrates skill in operating a large motor vehicle 24’ or longer in all weather conditions.
-An excellent driving record and maintains a valid driver’s license.
-Requires walking or standing for long periods and frequent lifting and carrying of objects.
