Stanislaus State - Community Engagement Program Coordinator

Stanislaus State is hiring a Community Engagement Program Coordinator to be part of the historic new CaliforniansForAll College Corps! If you are interested in developing new programming and working on exciting projects related to Climate Action and Food Insecurity, this may be a terrific fit for you! The Stanislaus State College Service Fellowship provides opportunities for community service in three focus areas: K-12 Education, Food Insecurity, and Climate Action. The Fellowship also provides targeted advising in academics and STEM career development while developing the community cultural wealth of each STEM student. This role is part of the CSU STEM VISTA program. As a member of this cohort, you will take part in a learning community of VISTAs across the California State University system. Our one-year program is designed to promote your growth professionally and personally as you create and enhance programs for STEM students. All projects within CSU STEM VISTA are focused on eliminating race, class, and gender disparities in STEM undergraduate graduation rates. You will be trained to utilize sustainable, asset-based approaches that engage students of color, students from low-income communities, and students who are first in their families to attend college.
