If so, Fresno State is recruiting a STEM VISTA College of Science and Mathematics Student Success Coordinator! Join our team and let’s work together to support students on their journey to completing a STEM degree! The Faculty-Student Mentorship and BOND Junior Academic “Check-in” Program(s) both share a common goal of providing all STEM students with support and guidance needed to successfully complete their STEM degree in a timely manner. This role is part of the CSU STEM VISTA program. As a member of this cohort, you will take part in a learning community of VISTAs across the California State University system. Our one-year program is designed to promote your growth professionally and personally as you create and enhance programs for STEM students. All projects within CSU STEM VISTA are focused on eliminating race, class, and gender disparities in STEM undergraduate graduation rates. You will be trained to utilize sustainable, asset-based approaches that engage students of color, students from low-income communities, and students who are first in their family to attend college.
