22-23 Nourish Pierce County Food Security Response

Incorporated in 1982 as FISH Food Banks of Pierce County, Nourish Pierce County is an organization that provides food and emergency service referrals to people in need. Our mission is to provide food for people in need with compassion, dignity and respect. With five food bank locations and award winning mobile food banks that serve 15 additional sites, Nourish serves over 60,000 individuals each month. Our goal is to provide each person or family with enough food to make three nutritious meals a day for three days. Clients are asked to limit their visits to once a week, but no one in need is turned away. This position will assist the food bank manager in carrying out our mission and service. Position is contingent upon funding.
