National Farm Workers Service Center

The NFWSC was founded by Cesar Chavez and Dolores Huerta, civil rights leaders in the 1960s, who were fighting for fairer working conditions and better wages for farm workers. Currently the NFWSC builds and preserves quality affordable housing for Latino and underserved communities throughout the Southwest. We have established Si Se Puede! Learning Centers within our properties. Each center provides a safe, caring, fun and interactive environment that supports and encourages learning and focuses on literacy, math and technology, through an after-school and summer program. Our after-school and summer program works with students from K-8th grade.
