Youth use the computers in the space, assisted by the member, to apply for jobs, housing, and health & other benefits. The member builds trust & relationships with our clients and discuss a variety of difficult topics (substance abuse disorder, mental health, trauma) while always remaining client-focused, empathetic, & positive. COVID-19: The youth & families were deeply impacted financially, emotionally, & mentally by experiencing loss (jobs, housing, access to resources) as well as increased food insecurity, feelings of isolation, & mental health crises. The member implements food provision & structured activities that support wellbeing. Location: Burlington, VT
