Pine City Preschool Mobile Learning Bus - Initiative Found.
 
 
 
Located in the white pines of beautiful east central Minnesota, a dedicated coalition of community members have set a goal that each child will start Kindergarten ready to read and ready to learn. A critical part of this mission is to insure that each child has the opportunity to attend a quality preschool. This innovative project involves being part of a team dedicated to creating a mobile learning bus that would bring a quality preschool experience to children. The mobile preschool project will be a bus that travels around to different locations within the Pine City School District. The project will offer free or low-cost preschool to families. The VISTA will assist ECC members design the bus, determine locations for the stop and identify participants. As our VISTA member, you will get the opportunity to work with the Early Childhood Coalition to see this project develop from start to implementation. This position will also give you the opportunity to work within the early childhood community to build a stronger partnership to insure quality programming for each child within the entire Pine City School district.
