SCORE-Sustainable Food and Farming Intern

SCORE is a team-based AmeriCorps program. The twelve AmeriCorps State members will be administered by the SCCAA SCORE AmeriCorps Team Project Supervisor and will be placed at one of several community organizations. Members will carry out program requirements for the [Host Site] and SCORE AmeriCorps Team including required training, member development, reporting and data collection and team service projects. Dual supervision of AmeriCorps State members will be carried out by the Site Supervisor at the host site, and by the Project Supervisor of the SCORE AmeriCorps Team. All duties will be fulfilled in a timely and professional manner. Members are required to average a minimum of 40 hours per week, and to accrue a minimum of 1700 hours over the course of their term of service. Additionally, the SCORE AmeriCorps Team is committed to fostering understanding, communication and respect among all people involved in the organization, including people of different races, religions, ages, genders, political affiliation, ethnic and cultural backgrounds, national origins, sexual preferences or orientations, medical conditions or disabilities, and marital, veteran or family statuses. We believe we should capitalize on the strengths emanating from these differences.
