PASS AmeriCorps

San Diego has great weather, miles of sandy beaches, and major attractions. It is also where the San Diego County Office of Education PASS AmeriCorps Program is making a difference for youth, families and communities! PASS is a mentoring and leadership program for at-risk youth in gang impacted neighborhoods at various school sites in San Diego County for youth in grades 3-12. In collaboration with partnering schools, PASS focuses on improving academics, behavior and attendance through character development, academic support, and opportunities for positive school and community engagement. Program goals are designed to engage participating students in meaningful mentoring relationships that help them realize their dreams through experiencing academic success, making healthy choices, and developing positive leadership roles at school and in the community. PASS AmeriCorps strives to empower youth to reach their fullest potential and become positive leaders. You will not find a more fulfilling and meaningful experience in service! Applicants selected to serve must meet all AmeriCorps and SDCOE PASS eligibility requirements and conditions to serve in program.
