Prodigy Ventures Social Enterprise VISTA
 
 
 
Over the course of 12 months, Prodigy Social Enterprise VISTAs will support capacity building for an apprenticeship program for young adults, 18-24 years old. The apprenticeships occur across three craft coffeehouses in Denver. The VISTA will support Expanding Professional Development Opportunities for apprentices; Community Outreach, and Volunteer Management. Professional Development support will include VISTAs developing and organizing Prodigy’s volunteers and creating systems for responsiveness to Apprentice needs. Community Outreach capacity building will include customer engagement, supporting a robust learning environment for apprentices across the craft coffeehouses. Prodigy has begun to measure longitudinal wage data to ensure that the apprenticeship supports economic stability and growth for young adults. The VISTA will support this goal through outreach with alumni and administrative functions in the data management associated. The VISTA will support the economic mobility and workforce readiness of young adults, primarily from NE Denver who face barriers such as limited access to employment opportunities, low wages, lack of professional networks, limited career pathways, or other economic challenges that affect long-term financial stability.

Member Duties : Expanding Professional Development Opportunities: The VISTA will develop and organize sustainable systems for engaging volunteers and tracking their contributions. Implementing Customer Feedback Systems: The VISTA will analyze current customer engagement processes, develop tools in partnership with staff and apprentices, analyze results of refined tools, document process and transition to staff for management. Organizing & Strengthening Alumni Engagement: The VISTA will Develop and pilot a sustainable alumni engagement framework, including outreach procedures, engagement tools, communication templates and tracking resources. The VISTA will analyze and refine the process, document procedures and transition to staff for management. Strengthen Outcome tracking: VISTA will develop and improve data tracking systems for alumni wages and pilot a sustainable data-management system that Prodigy staff can continue using.
