2026 CAforAll - College Corps Program
 
 
 
The California College Corps Fire Recovery Program at West Los Angeles College engages students in supporting communities affected by wildfires and climate-related disasters. Fellows partner with community organizations and public agencies to assist with recovery, environmental restoration, disaster preparedness, and community outreach. Through service, leadership development, and career readiness activities, students gain valuable professional experience while helping build more resilient and sustainable communities.

Member Duties : AmeriCorps members will support wildfire recovery and community resilience by serving with nonprofit organizations, public agencies, and community partners. Members will assist with community outreach, resource distribution, volunteer coordination, environmental restoration projects, disaster preparedness education, and recovery events. They will help connect residents to recovery resources, support community engagement activities, collect program data, and assist with planning and implementing resilience initiatives. Throughout their service, members will participate in training, leadership development, and professional reflection while gaining hands-on experience in public service, emergency preparedness, project coordination, and community engagement.
