MISSION: Terra Firma National's mission is to ensure that newly-arrived immigrant children and families have access to quality healthcare and legal representation, regardless of immigration status, in order to build resilience, achieve safety and stability, and reach their full potential. VISTA ACTIVITIES: The NYIC VISTA, Program Development, placed at Terra Firma National, will support the continuing development and implementation of a first-of-its-kind training curriculum and technical assistance program for bringing together immigration legal services with immigrant centered healthcare. This position will also work on fundraising projects (e.g., grant applications, events, donor mailings), to implement new donor and grants management processes.
