These initiatives recognize access to healthy food as a critical component of improving health outcomes and overall well-being. AmeriCorps volunteers will play an important role in addressing hunger as a social determinant of health by supporting programs that connect individuals and families with nutritious food resources. This position is located at Greater Cleveland Food Bank. The Greater Cleveland Food Bank is the largest hunger relief organization in Northeast Ohio having served more than 404,000 people in Cuyahoga, Ashtabula, Geauga, Lake, Ashland, and Richland counties in FY2025. The Food Bank provides food and non-food items to more than 1,000 programmatic partner agencies.
