Community Awareness & Outreach Coordinator VISTA
 
 
 
The VISTA member will build capacity by developing sustainable outreach, marketing, and communication systems that increase awareness, improve access to services, and strengthen community partnerships. To increase awareness and utilization of services, the clinic must strengthen its communication strategies, outreach systems, and partnerships. This project is based at The Crossing Medical Clinic in Manitowoc, WI, where many residents experience barriers to accessing healthcare and supportive services.

Member Duties : Serve with AmeriCorps VISTA to expand access to healthcare at The Crossing Medical Clinic in Manitowoc, WI. This role focuses on building systems that improve community awareness, outreach, and communication efforts so more individuals can access critical health services. The VISTA member will develop marketing strategies, create outreach systems, strengthen partnerships, and build tools that increase visibility and improve access to care for underserved populations. This is a capacity-building role designed to create lasting improvements in how the clinic connects with and serves the community.
