26-27 Bridge To Skate Grants & Programs Volunteers VISTA

Bridge to Skate is a nonprofit that uses skateboarding as a tool for youth development, mentorship, and creative expression in underserved communities. Through free after-school programs, art and STEAM activities, and community events, Bridge to Skate creates safe, inclusive spaces where young people build confidence, develop leadership skills, and access positive opportunities. The organization partners with schools and community-based organizations in areas such as South Los Angeles and Compton, as well as with grassroots partners internationally, to expand access to programming where it is needed most. We are seeking a motivated, organized, and mission-driven individual with strong writing and research skills and an interest in nonprofit development, fundraising, or community-based programs. Experience with youth programs, skateboarding, or the arts is a plus but not required. Ideal candidates are adaptable, collaborative, and excited to help build systems that expand opportunities for young people. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in grant writing, partnerships, and nonprofit growth while contributing to meaningful, community-driven work. VISTA members will play a key role in helping Bridge to Skate expand its reach and create lasting impact for youth through skateboarding.
