AmeriCorps VISTA: Fundraising and Partnership Support Member
 
 
 
A Fundraising & Partnership Support role focuses on building the systems and relationships that bring in money and community support—so programs can grow and keep running. By having a designated fundraiser and partnership role, it will allow us to keep supporting our at-risk veterans. Allowing us to gather the means we need to keep offering work force training, bus passes, and pro socials to build community. Typical responsibilities include: Develop fundraising tools: sponsorship packets, donation ask templates, one-pagers, pitch decks Build a partner pipeline: identify prospects (businesses, foundations, agencies), track contacts, set follow-ups Use tool such as emails/calls, event sponsorship outreach, in-kind donation requests. To help provide stability for the organization. Write and package grant-ready materials: program descriptions, budgets (with staff), impact language, attachments Coordinate partnership logistics: MOUs, referral pathways, co-hosted events, tabling opportunities Evaluate results: track dollars raised, meetings booked, conversion rates, and partner engagement Create repeatable systems so the process continues smoothly after the role ends (CRM/spreadsheets, SOPs, calendars)

Member Duties : Develop a 12-month fundraising and partnership workplan with targets, timelines, and outreach cadence aligned to the project period. Design a prospect tracking system (CRM or spreadsheet) to document contacts, outreach dates, next steps, and outcomes. Research and compile a prioritized pipeline of foundations, corporate giving programs, civic groups, and veteran-focused funders, including qualification notes. Create standardized outreach materials (email templates, call scripts, meeting agendas, follow-up messages) to increase consistency and replication. Coordinate outreach activity by scheduling outreach blocks, tracking responses, and arranging introductory meetings for WarriorNOW leadership, then documenting next steps. Develop an in-kind donation request process, including a wish list, request templates, acknowledgment language, and tracking procedures.
