2026 Latinas Leading Tomorrow-CORE after-school VISTA)
 
 
 
Latinas Leading Tomorrow (LLT) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering first-generation and low-income Latina middle and high school students through leadership development, STEM exposure, and college and career readiness programming. Serving students across Arlington, VA and Prince George’s County, MD, LLT provides culturally responsive, no-cost programs that equip young women with the skills, confidence, and networks needed to succeed. The Program Coordinator VISTA will play a critical capacity-building role in strengthening LLT’s program delivery and operations. This includes supporting the planning, coordination, and evaluation of core programs such as CORE (after-school leadership), STEMpower Camp, and the ELITE Leadership Academy. The VISTA member will work closely with the Program Coordinator to align program implementation with organizational goals, ensuring consistency and quality across multiple school sites. Key efforts will focus on improving program systems, enhancing data tracking and reporting, and strengthening partnerships with schools, universities, and corporate partners. The VISTA will also support the development of scalable tools, processes, and resources that increase program efficiency and long-term sustainability. Through this role, the VISTA member will help expand access to high-quality educational and leadership opportunities for Latina youth, contributing to improved academic outcomes, increased college readiness, and stronger pathways to economic mobility. Member Duties : Objective 1: Evaluate data,identify trends, and measure the impact of the organization’s programs. Compile comprehensive reports invaluable for internal assessment and external purposes. Objective 2: Begin working closely with the program coordinator to align project tasks with organizational needs and goals. Objective 3: Maintain the process of grant information gathering. Research available grant opportunities that align with Latinas Leading Tomorrow's mission and initiate preparations for upcoming grant applications. Objective 4: Engage with other community organizations and potential partners by attending meetings,participating in networking events, and reaching out to stakeholders who share similar goals. Building and nurturing these relationships contribute to fostering community collaborations and expanding the organization’s network of support.
