2026 Summer Associate-Loyola Community Summer Youth Program

Loyola University Maryland is a liberal arts university in North Baltimore. Its new Center for Neighborhood Resilience (CNR, formerly the York Road Initiative) supports place-based justice efforts along the York Road commercial corridor and its adjacent neighborhoods. The Center seeks a Community Summer Youth Program VISTA member to work with CNR staff to support the summer youth program. The VISTA Summer Associate will support a curriculum designed to teach youth about community engagement and to walk them towards planning a community-based event for their peers at the end of the summer. The Center also seeks a Food and Wellness Summer Youth Program VISTA member to work with CNR staff to support these summer food and fitness/wellness programs. The VISTA Summer Associate will also support the Center’s summer meals program.
