Summer Associate - ReachBack 521 SME_Virtual Service Site

ReachBack, Inc. will recruit 25+ AmeriCorps Summer Associates to serve as the central coordinating force and “bridge” between ReachBack and community partners—including businesses, local government, and nonprofits. As part of the ReachBack 5-2-1 Community Collective Impact (CCI) strategy, this initiative addresses poverty by closing the “Essential Skills” gap that limits economic mobility for underserved youth, young adults, and aspiring entrepreneurs. By aligning cross-sector partners around a shared agenda and common metrics, Summer Associates transform fragmented services into a unified, data-driven ecosystem. Through this 10-week program, 500 participants will gain practical, technology-aligned skills and real-world project experience to access sustainable employment, career development, and entrepreneurship pathways. Summer Associates will deliver high-impact tutoring for K–12 scholars, young adults, and entrepreneurs; coordinate daily operations; and facilitate applied workshops in financial literacy, reading, career readiness, and workforce development. Key milestones include completing 320+ competency and career development plans, supporting 320 participants in establishing financial accounts, engaging 15–20 partners, and activating 100 volunteers and subject matter experts. Associates will also coordinate real-world project launches, facilitate milestone celebrations, and support planning for the ChangeMaker Summit to highlight growth in the Six Essential Professional Competencies. The role combines Agile project management with hands-on, on-site engagement to ensure program quality and real-time data collection. This opportunity is ideal for Change Makers who thrive in collaborative environments and are committed to building scalable, community-driven solutions for long-term impact.
