| Member Duties : Summer Associates may engage in both direct service and capacity building service. Direct service may include collecting and distributing food and other resources to residents; supporting neighborhood improvement efforts; mentoring and coaching youth in summer programs; camp counseling; leading summer activities; supporting student employment; serving veterans; serving seniors; and more. Capacity building activities may include supporting nonprofit fundraising, recruiting volunteers, creating programs, developing social media marketing, and improving organizational processes.
