Breathe Southern California - VISTA Development Fellow

Breathe Southern California is a non-profit, non-partisan organization that promotes community health services through prevention, education, and early diagnosis of respiratory conditions. Our programs focus on air quality, health education, patient care, and preventative measures to help all Southern Californians Breathe Easier. Our environmental programs provide stakeholder and community capacity building regarding workforce development, training opportunities, and community benefit programs. As Breathe Southern California expands its community programs and partnerships, the VISTA Development Fellow will support efforts to strengthen organizational capacity for sustainable growth. The VISTA member will assist in building and managing systems that enhance strategic partnerships, outreach, and fundraising support, particularly across public health, transportation and workforce development sectors. Through strengthening partner engagement and developmental infrastructure, the VISTA will help expand program reach, improve community access to air quality education and workforce opportunities, and support long-term sustainability. These efforts will contribute to advancing health equity and economic opportunities for underserved communities across Southern California.
