Public and School Partnership Summer Associates
 
 
 
The Summer Associate program is a 10-week summer term (6/15-8/23). Summer Associates work 40 hours/week, receive a living stipend, and can choose between an end-of-service education or cash award. In your application, include your preferred sites where you would like to be interviewed. 2026 Summer Associate sites are: Common Ground (outreach, youth programs) Cache Refugee and Immigrant Connection (outreach events, community programs) Little Lambs (outreach, community programs) Athletics United (outreach, youth programs) Utah Assistive Technology Programs (resource generation, capacity building) USU Institute for Disability Research Practice and Policy (resource generation, capacity building).

Member Duties : The Summer Associate Program helps reduce poverty by supporting short term, high impact projects that strengthen how organizations serve individuals and families. Summer Associates contribute to outreach, resource development, and program support that connect community members to essential services. They serve during local operating hours and assist site supervisors with coordinating summer learning activities, generating resources, building capacity, and supporting outreach efforts. Summer Associates collaborate with youth, volunteers, and staff to expand program reach and effectiveness. Specific activities vary by site.
