Learn more: housingactionil.org/americorps. The Neighbor Project (TNP) is a community-based nonprofit organization serving low- to moderate-income individuals and families in the Fox Valley region of Illinois through housing counseling, financial empowerment, and housing stability services. The Data, Outreach, & Housing Stability VISTA will analyze and improve data and intake systems, develop tools and presentations to support outreach and program evaluation, and design sustainable processes that enhance TNP’s ability to deliver housing-related services and measure impact. By streamlining intake, data collection, and community engagement, TNP will be able to expand our reach, improve our effectiveness, and reduce barriers to housing stability. Our ideal candidate is detail-oriented, mission-driven, and interested in housing justice, nonprofit operations, or data analysis. Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills are important, along with comfort working with databases, spreadsheets, and presentation tools. Candidates should be adaptable, eager to learn, and motivated to contribute to capacity-building work that supports housing stability and poverty reduction. With opportunities for professional development and mentorship, this role is a good fit for those motivated to pursue the housing and community development field.
