M:STL- Summer Associate Seed STL

Since 1984 Seed St. Louis has connected people to the land, to their food, and to each other. We are a 501c3 nonprofit who supports a network of over 250 community gardens, school gardens, and urban orchards in neighborhoods throughout the St. Louis region. Our purpose is to provide communities with the tools, education, and empowerment to grow their own food.

Member Duties : Seed St. Louis will focus on hunger in St. Louis this summer. The Seed St. Louis Community Projects team prepares materials in the summer for fall expansions at 15 community and school gardens, which collectively serve about 1,000 people—half in food-insecure areas—providing spaces for growing food and learning. The Summer Associate VISTA will help build garden infrastructure, support volunteers, and create photo and video content for social media while supporting staff as needed.
