ACE: Regional Food Bank - Data Analytic Coordinator
 
 
 
The Center for Academic Community Engagement at Siena University (ACE) recruits candidates from around the United States to serve with community-based organizations that work to alleviate poverty in the Capital District. You will have the opportunity to work on capacity-building projects in education, health care, the environment, housing, criminal justice, and/or economic development. You will make an impact with a non-profit organization and the Capital Region by coordinating volunteer-led projects, conducting research, writing grants, and facilitating outreach. Based on your skills and interests, you will be matched with an organization for the year. You will be managed on-site by a supervisor, mentored by 2 VISTA Leaders, and trained by an experienced VISTA team. You will attend a Pre-Service Orientation, an On-Site Orientation, and ongoing training for your personal and professional growth. Additionally, our cohort model provides community and support to help you make the most of your service year experience. We are celebrating fifteen years of success and have had over 200 VISTAs complete the program. Become an ACE AmeriCorps VISTA Member and be a part of something bigger than yourself! NOTE: OUR VISTAs DO NOT LIVE ON CAMPUS AND ARE NOT REQUIRED TO BE SIENA UNIVERSITY GRADS.

Member Duties : Assess and formalize metrics for the Farm’s intangible benefits, including community goodwill and educational opportunities. Identify and document expansion opportunities for the farm’s educational mission; research and report on diverse food bank farm models for best-practice implementation. Analyze and design improvements for volunteer recruitment and management systems; identify and propose solutions for the volunteer management team. Enhance and systematize the Patroon Land Farm’s internal database to improve organizational efficiency and data integrity. Develop research protocols and frameworks for farm reports using historical records to ensure long-term accuracy and accessibility of information. Codify agricultural and operational knowledge into training materials and SOPs to support the farm team’s needs. Support the Regional Food Bank’s growth by creating administrative and operational templates to ensure program continuity.
