| Member Duties : EarthDance's Outreach and Farm Stand Associate will work alongside our Operations Manager to promote the farm stand and other EarthDance programming and events to the St. Louis area, with a particular focus on North County, building awareness of the fresh food resources and educational opportunities available. Building capacity to operate our Pay What You Can farm stand during the weekends (Fridays and Sundays) provides community members consistent hours of operations, when food security is especially critical for families with students who are not in school receiving free breakfast and lunch. Additionally, the project will engage youth to encourage them to try new fresh foods through age-appropriate curriculum on nutrition and food access. Garden and farm-based activities teach students about harvesting crops, soil health and healthy cooking with fresh food to increase their wonder for the natural world.
