Align9 VISTA Crisis Intervention Team and Health Council Dev
 
 
 
Establish a strong planning framework and begin building relationships with key partners to define a shared vision for the CIT. Develop a formalized internal structure to support the CIT (Crisis Intervention Team) program by fostering strategic collaborations with key community stakeholders. This VSITA will advocate with established partnerships with law enforcement agencies, behavioral health providers, and other relevant community organizations to enhance coordinated response and service integration. Expand CIT coverage area, formalize systems for sustainability, and embed the model within local emergency response infrastructure.

Member Duties : Assist in crafting long-term funding proposals or grant narratives. Train future leaders or volunteers to support the continued growth of the Health Council and Crisis Intervention Team. Advocate for inclusion of the CIT in county emergency response protocols and state-level behavioral health policy. Formalize supervision, continuing education, and peer support for CIT members. Identify sustainable funding streams (county dollars, Medicaid billing for peer crisis response, local grants). Facilitate trainings and logistics, track attendance and feedback. Support development of evaluation tools and data collection. Build documentation templates (incident reporting, follow-ups, partner check-ins).
