ETC Crew Member - Summer
 
 
 
Ecolibrium3 is a community-based organization in Duluth, MN. Our Energy Training Corps Program (ETC) is a paid training program to prepare members for valuable careers as home energy professionals, while improving local housing stock and community health. As a Crew Member, you will gain hands-on-experience in the growing residential energy sector. You will learn the core concepts of building science, how to perform home upgrades, and sharpen program development skills. Member service includes a mix of classroom training, office work, and field experience. Members in this position will serve during the summer from June to September. We are a placed-based organization and members are expected to serve onsite in Duluth, MN.

Member Duties : Key Responsibilities: Member Recruitment: Recruit Energy Training Corps candidates for service through various channels including community canvassing, recruitment portal, phone, email, tabling events, etc. Household Recruitment: Recruit households for Ecolibrium3 Energy Program services. Energy Assessments: Learn the basic techniques of conducting comprehensive home energy assessments, including the use of diagnostic tools to identify areas of energy loss and inefficiency. Energy Improvements: Learn the basic techniques of performing holistic energy improvement measures, such as air sealing, insulation, and combustion safety analysis. Community Education: Educate residents about energy-saving practices and the benefits of home upgrades, providing guidance and resources to support their efforts. Training & Development: Participate in ongoing training sessions to enhance your knowledge and skills in residential energy improvements and jobsite safety.
