Traditional AmeriCorps NCCC Team Leader - Fall 2026
 
 
 
AmeriCorps NCCC provides you with valuable life experience and skill development while you lead a team of 18-24 year olds, earn money for college, travel the U.S., and help communities! The mission of AmeriCorps NCCC is to strengthen communities and develop leaders through team-based national and community service. Here is what you can expect during your service: - Serve full-time for 11 months (1 month leadership training, 10 months leading a team) - Lead a team of 8-12 young adults -Deploy to 4-6 projects across the country (transportation provided) Next steps: - Complete an application by clicking the “Apply Now!” button below. Member Duties : You will lead a team through direct, hands-on service in the areas of natural and other disasters, infrastructure improvement, environmental stewardship and conservation, energy conservation, and urban and rural development. Your team could be doing anything from building a house to running a youth summer program, so adaptability is key! As a Team Leader, you will be crucial to your team’s success. You’ll be responsible for directing, motivating, and mentoring, a diverse team of young people. Partner organizations and NCCC staff will look to you for coordination of project logistics. Gain invaluable supervisory experience, challenge yourself, and build lasting connections.
