| Member Duties : Duties will include serving with FS employees maintaining, constructing, and clearing trails (33%),
maintaining campgrounds and recreational sites (33%), and cleaning and maintaining tools and equipment
(33%). This requires hiking/ working outdoors with a crew of 20 people, small groups of 2-4, and/ or
independently. Projects will include trail construction, trail maintenance using chainsaws and hand tools,
recreation facility improvements, forestry related tasks, constructing bridges and boardwalks, and other
carpentry projects. There will also be one or two week-long backcountry trail work camps that will require tent
camping and backpacking gear (provided by FS if needed).
