More Smiles Health Systems & Digital Capacity VISTA

The AmeriCorps VISTA at WAFCC's site partner, More Smiles Wisconsin, will build the long-term digital, systems, and outreach capacity of the clinic by strengthening internal technology infrastructure, developing scalable digital tools, and designing sustainable workflows that improve access to behavioral health and dental services. This position focuses on behind-the-scenes systems development that enables staff and volunteers to serve more community members efficiently and equitably.

Member Duties : VISTA Member Activities & Responsibilities Digital Communications & Materials Development - Design reusable digital materials such as newsletter and email templates - Develop systems and guides so staff can independently update materials Data Collection & Workflow Tools - Create Google Forms to support volunteer feedback and patient sign-ups - Develop standardized processes for data collection and documentation Behavioral Health EHR Systems Support - Assist in setting up and optimizing the behavioral health EHR - Develop guides and workflows to support staff adoption Telehealth Systems & Process Development - Research best practices for telehealth delivery - Design a telehealth workflow for dental visits - Create written protocols and training materials
