Camp Valcrest Capacity, Data, & Resource Development VISTA
 
 
 
The AmeriCorps VISTA member will strengthen GOALS Camp Valcrest by expanding program resources, and creating systems that support long-term operational effectiveness. They will build structured activity guides and program models, develop tools for staff training and implementation, and establish processes for tracking participation, quality indicators, and program outcomes. The VISTA will enhance internal communication systems, support volunteer management infrastructure, and research partnership, funding, and in-kind resource opportunities that advance program capacity. Through these efforts, the member will build systems and resources that expand access for undeserved youth, increase organizational sustainability, and strengthen Camp Valcrest’s ability to deliver safe, enriching, and developmentally supportive experiences over time.

Member Duties : The VISTA member will build GOALS Camp Valcrest’s long-term capacity by developing sustainable systems, tools, and resources that strengthen program operations. They will design internal communication and coordination processes, and develop templates that support staff in delivering consistent, high-quality activities. The VISTA will also build resource development infrastructure by researching partnership and funding opportunities, organizing program data, and creating evaluation and tracking tools that inform planning and improvement. By enhancing internal systems, documenting processes, and expanding organizational readiness, the VISTA will help ensure GOALS Camp Valcrest can sustainably provide enriching, well-organized summer programming for underserved youth.
